My first mini drugstore haul!
For a while now I’ve been wanting to make a post about my drugstore go-to products, I am obsessed with going into Superdrug or Boots to see what new products they have in and everything is so affordable. So now I’m going to take you through each product and tell you a bit about it and why I love it!
L’Oreal has just launched a new range of clay masks so I thought I would try out the exfoliating and glow mask. The mask is made with red algae extracts, which is known for its brightening properties. I really like it because it isn’t too harsh on the skin, and it has exfoliation that adds an extra bit of softness to your skin as well. This product is super affordable and retails for £5.99 at Boots.
The next product is a daily moisturiser from Soap and Glory. I personally love this product because it smells amazing, and it is also really light on the skin so it sinks into your face really nicely. I usually put this on 10-15 minutes before putting on my makeup to keep my skin hydrated. This product retails for £8.
The next product is one a recently purchased, I cannot say I live by it but I do think it is a great moisturiser for really dry skin. After I put it on it leaves my skin feeling so soft and it sinks in quite quickly which I love. The only thing I don’t like about this product is the smell, it smells like chocolate however I prefer when my moisturisers have a more fruity smell. This product retails between £2.50-3.
Recently I have gotten into wearing false lashes when I go out for events or dinners because I feel like they really make my eyes look bigger and makes my makeup look nicer. So I used to use MAC lashes but I found that they were way too big for my eyes and very over the top, so I went into boots and found these lashes by Fleur De Force by Eylure. Right now I am absolutely loving them because they are made for smaller eyes so they fit perfectly. The lashes are also not too overpowering, sometimes people can’t even tell I’m wearing them, which I really like. If you have smaller eyes I would highly recommend giving these a go because they are really affordable and I personally think they look really good on. These retail for around £5.50.
I swear by the micellar cleansing water from Garnier, I use it everyday without fail to remove my makeup or even to just give my skin a quick clean before I go to bed. It removes makeup so well and theres no horrible chemicals or oils in it, it really feels like you’re just putting some water on your face. This is the smaller travel size however they do like 3-4 different sizes now. So if you are looking for an easy way to remove your makeup I highly highly recommend this product! This size retails for £2.50.
