Who doesn’t love a good pasta for dinner?

Located in the heart of Pimlico, Cacio&Pepe offers delicious homemade pasta, fresh meat and fish, and mouth-watering deserts.

When you book, you have the choice of seating upstairs around the bar, or downstairs at a dinner table.

Personally, I prefer sitting at the bar area if its a small group of 2-4 people because there’s a lot more atmosphere.

To start we ordered baked aubergine parmigiana style, I must say it is the best I have ever tried. The sauce was just perfect, complemented by the flavourful melted cheese on top.

To complement our food, we ordered a bottle of the house red – I’m not a wine connoisseur but I definitely enjoyed it and would order the same next time.

For mains I went for the fresh tagliolini Cacio&Pepe style in a crispy parmesan basket. The pasta was perfectly al dente and tasted extremely fresh – the sauce wasn’t too heavy, which is important when ordering a cheesy dish. The parmesan basket was delicious and perfectly crispy, if you’re a cheese lover you need to try this dish!

And of course, there is always room for desert!

We went for the tiramisu, it was very light yet full of flavour – the perfect way to end a great Italian dinner.

If ever you find yourself in the South West side of London, going here is a must! I would recommend booking for dinner time as it gets quite filled up.

They also offer a set menu for lunch, and early dinner – it is great value and they have quite a lot dishes to choose from.
